What Types of Permanent Makeup We Remove
We remove all common forms of cosmetic tattooing at Samadhi:
- Microblading — hairline strokes, including fresh and over-worked brows

How It Works
We use the same Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser system we use for body tattoos — operating at 1064 nm and 532 nm depending on pigment colour. For permanent makeup, settings are adjusted carefully: cosmetic pigments behave differently from tattoo ink and can shift colour under laser before clearing completely.
This is why experience matters. We explain what to expect from the first session before we start — including any temporary colour changes that may occur mid-process.
A typical session:
- Skin is cooled before treatment
- Laser pulses applied — usually 5–10 minutes for a facial area
- Skin is cooled again after
- Aftercare instructions provided
How Many Sessions?
Permanent makeup generally clears faster than body tattoos because the pigment sits at a shallower depth.

Fresh microblading (under 6 months old) often responds faster. Over-worked brows with multiple layers will take more sessions. We give you a specific estimate at the first visit.
Between sessions: a minimum 6–8 week break is required to let the skin fully recover and clear the broken-down pigment.
Does It Hurt?
Facial skin is thinner and more sensitive than body skin. Most clients describe the sensation as a sharp snapping, similar to a rubber band — but sessions on eyebrows and lips are very short. We apply numbing cream before treatment upon request.
Active cooling before, during, and after the session significantly reduces discomfort.
Aftercare in Bali's Tropical Climate
The first 24 hours are the most important:
- Cool the treated area regularly — every hour, apply something cold (wrapped in paper towel) for 10 minutes.
- After 24 hours, use the recommended healing cream.
- Avoid direct sun, pools, and ocean for at least 5–7 days.
- Do not pick or rub the area as it heals.

Permanent makeup removal sessions start from 1,200,000 IDR per area (eyebrows or lips). Total cost depends on the number of sessions needed.

Where We Are — Uluwatu, South Bali
We're based in Uluwatu, Bukit peninsula — the southern tip of Bali. If you're in the south (Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Bukit, Pecatu), we're the closest specialist option for permanent makeup removal on the island.
From Canggu or Seminyak: the drive south is 30–40 minutes on a scooter. Most laser removal clients come multiple times over several months — if you're planning a removal series and eventual new brow work, it makes sense to do both at the same studio.
