Artem & Bagus
Artem — founder of Samadhi and the studio’s principal black-and-grey realist. He specialises in large-scale compositions: full backs, sleeves, legs and chest pieces. Creator of the unique project “Real Tattoo Memories” — tattoos shot at extraordinary locations across the world: waterfalls, cliffs and active volcanoes. He has worked at the highest points of Russia and Europe, beneath the ocean’s surface, and inside one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Each major piece is given its own name, like a painting.
Bagus — resident artist with a background in academic realism. He works across three styles: black-and-grey realism, fine line, and mini tattoos. Bali-born, trained in academic drawing, with a patient approach to detail that shows in every session.
Together they cover the full range of what Samadhi offers — from small minimalist fine line pieces to large-scale realism projects that take multiple sessions to complete.

We charge per session, calculated after you decide on the design, size, and placement of your tattoo. For large projects requiring multiple sessions, we offer a fixed rate for a full workday (on average, 7–9 hours of work). With this approach, the artist doesn't rush during the session and performs their work with the highest quality.
Yes, we professionally cover up old tattoos. We always recommend lightening the tattoo with a laser before covering it with a new one, and offer discounts on laser sessions for our regular clients. If you choose not to lighten first, the new tattoo will be significantly larger and darker. In some cases, it's possible to mask the old tattoo within the darker areas of the new design. To find out the cost, send us a photo in any way convenient for you.
Minimum price for a tattoo in our studio — 1,500,000 IDR (about 90 USD). For an exact estimate, send us a message describing your idea, or leave a request below — our manager will get back to you.
The number of sessions depends entirely on the complexity of the final design. On average, 7–12 sessions are required. We never rush our work because a tattoo is for life, and our artists prioritize delivering the highest quality. You'll learn the approximate number of sessions needed after creating the initial design.
Removal is usually more painful than getting the tattoo, but the session itself takes only a few minutes. Most of the time is spent on preparation — cooling the skin before and after. The artist also cools the skin during the procedure to ease discomfort and reduce swelling. We use numbing cream only in exceptional cases.
The exact number of sessions cannot be predicted — it depends on many factors: the depth of the pigment, the quality of the ink, the age of the tattoo, the state of your immune system, and more. For an approximate estimate, please send us a photo of your tattoo.
